Fastlink Wire Joiner

Push-In Wire Link, Splice and Tensioner for Smooth Wire and Cable
FASTLINK Wire Joiner is a push-in mechanical wire link designed for joining, splicing and tensioning compatible smooth wire and cable. Wire is inserted directly into both ends of the connector, where galvanized steel rollers automatically grip against reverse movement as tension is applied. Additional wire can be pulled through the connector for tension adjustment, while a dedicated FASTLINK Tension Tool can be used for controlled tightening. The connector is non-releasable during normal use; for removal and reuse, the wire is cut and the remaining loose ends are pulled through the connector.
  • Push-In Wire Joining: FASTLINK Wire Joiner uses a straightforward push-in connection. Compatible smooth wire or cable is inserted directly into both ends of the connector to create a compact inline splice without complicated joining procedures.
  • Galvanized Steel Roller Grip: Internal galvanized steel rollers engage the wire when reverse tension is applied. The gripping action helps prevent the installed wire from pulling back through the connector under normal tension.
  • Inline Wire Link and Splice: FASTLINK functions as a wire link for connecting two sections of wire in a straight inline splice, making it suitable for wire extension, repair and new wire installations.
  • Adjustable Wire Tension: Wire tension can be increased by pulling additional wire through the connector after installation. Leaving sufficient wire tail makes later adjustment and re-tensioning easier.
  • Dedicated Tension Tool: A dedicated FASTLINK Tension Tool can be used to pull the installed wire through the connector and achieve the required final tension more efficiently.
  • Reusable Non-Releasable Design: FASTLINK is non-releasable during normal installation, helping maintain a secure connection. When removal is required, the wire can be cut and the remaining loose ends pulled through the connector so that an undamaged FASTLINK can be used again.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a FASTLINK Wire Joiner used for?

FASTLINK Wire Joiner is used to join, splice and tension compatible smooth wire and cable. It works as a push-in wire link by connecting two wire sections in a straight inline splice while allowing additional wire to be pulled through for tension adjustment.
The connector uses internal galvanized steel rollers to grip the inserted wire. When tension is applied in the reverse direction, the rollers engage the wire and resist pullback, creating a secure mechanical connection inside the FASTLINK Wire Joiner.
Yes. FASTLINK is designed to function as a wire link for inline splicing. One wire section is inserted into each end of the connector, allowing two compatible wires or cables to be joined in a straight-line connection.
Yes. Additional wire can be pulled through the FASTLINK Wire Joiner to increase tension after the initial connection is made. Leaving an adequate wire tail during installation makes adjustment easier, and the dedicated FASTLINK Tension Tool can be used when additional tightening is required.
FASTLINK is reusable but non-releasable during normal operation. It does not use a release tool to disengage the gripping mechanism. To remove it, the wire is cut and the remaining loose ends are pulled through the connector. If the connector remains undamaged, it can then be reused with compatible wire.
