Automatic Conductor Splice

Full-Tension Automatic Splice for ACSR, AAC & AAAC Aluminium Conductors
FASTLINK Automatic Splice for Aluminium Conductor is a full-tension automatic connector designed for fast and reliable joining of ACSR, AAC and AAAC conductors in overhead power networks. This automatic tension splice provides a simple installation method with color-coded end guides and factory-applied inhibitor for easier conductor identification and connection. Selected models are designed to meet ANSI C119.4 Class A requirements and provide up to 95% of conductor rated breaking strength, making this automatic splice aluminium solution suitable for utility distribution and conductor maintenance applications.

• ANSI C119.4,full tension,Class A connector(95% of conductor breaking strength unless otherwise noted)

• Color coded end funnel guides for easy identification

• Factory inhibitor protected

• Fastest method of splicing aluminum, aluminum alloy and ACSR conductor

Frequently Asked Questions

What conductors can the FASTLINK Automatic Conductor Splice be used with?

The FASTLINK Automatic Conductor Splice is designed for electricity transmission and is intended for use with aluminum conductors, including ACSR, AAC and AAAC conductors. FASTLINK provides different connector sizes to match conductor sizes available on the market.
The connector body is made of aluminum, while the internal jaws are made of high-strength aluminum. The guide cap is made of DuPont Nylon, and the pilot cap and internal spring are made of stainless steel. The connectors are also described as corrosion resistant.
Yes. The connector can be used across a wide range of temperatures and in very severe environments. The connector is also designed to be corrosion resistant.
First, straighten the conductor and use a brush to clean it. Then insert the conductor into the splice and push it fully into position. For the other side of the splice, repeat the same procedure: prepare the conductor, insert it and push it into the connector.
FASTLINK recommends putting a mark on the conductor before insertion. The mark helps the installer confirm that the conductor has been fully inserted into the splice. Once both sides are correctly inserted, the video describes the result as a reliable connection that is fast and easy to install.
